You may have noticed the cash collection cans placed at each check-out register in the store. Valley Natural Foods is collecting loose change from customers and staff for the Dakota Woodlands Homeless Shelter’s annual Flying Home event. In addition to collecting cash, Valley Natural Foods will be donating a gift basket for the event’s auction which contains several items, including a decorated birdhouse by Valley Natural Foods staff. The basket is now on display between registers 3 and 4 until October 1 2009.
