A Successful Ride Thanks to Valley Natural Foods Customers!
Valley Natural Foods employee, Yani Clement, trekked 300 miles across southern Minnesota on her bike for the 9th Annual Red Ribbon Ride — July 14th-July 17th, 2011. The Red Ribbon Ride benefits eight incredible Minnesota AID organizations. The bike route took the scenic tour from Bloomington, MN to Rochester, MN and up to Northfield and ended at the State Capital in St. Paul.
Yani’s goal was to raise $1500 and she exceeded it (by $168.07) with the help of Valley Natural Foods customers! For the last several months up until the week before her ride, we were collecting cash donations and Holyland Hummus coupons (worth $.25 each toward a charitable organization) at our registers. We are proud to say that we collected a total of 685 coupons for her ride , amounting to $171.25! That total, combined with the amount of cash donations ($107.07) came out to a grand total donation of $278.32!
