Valley Natural Foods is run by a team of staff but the board of directors is responsible for making decisions about the future of our store.  Valley Natural Foods board members are committed to the mission and values of the store as well as reading financial statements, has a professional understanding of confidentiality and has skills in business, marketing, communications, real estate, or natural foods/co-ops.  The job of the board is to represent the members in determining and demanding appropriate organizational performance.  The board will be filling two seats this fall.

Valley Natural Foods is especially looking for new board members with financial expertise.  Dick Ellsworth has provided financial guidance for many years and will be retiring at the end of this term.  Thank you Mr. Ellsworth!  If you know of any member with financial experience encourage them to run for the board.
