The “Fresh Movement” Continues…

Wednesday, November 10th, 2010

The Fresh Movement continues after a successful 2010 Valley Natural Foods annual  membership meeting on October 18th. We sincerely thank all of our members for coming out to view the movie Fresh and for the significant interest in this film. Because of this interest and the many inquiries, this movie is now available for rent at our customer service counter at Valley Natural Foods.

If you were unable to attend the meeting, we encourage you to come out and rent the movie to learn what everybody is talking about!

As implied, Fresh isn’t just a movie, it’s a movement and a new way of thinking about food. Fresh celebrates sustainable farming at its best along with reinventing our food system. Years of food industrialization has led to  contamination, environmental pollution, depletion of natural resources and morbid obesity. This movie offers an in-depth look at the practical thinking of several sustainable farmers and entrepreneurs along with providing a healthy vision for the future of our food system and our planet.

Below are the guidelines Valley Natural Foods has set forth for renting the film:

•Rental fee is $29.95.

•You will be refunded the rental fee upon returning the movie; please bring in your receipt to process your refund.

•5 day rental period, please return the movie on the day it is due. If the movie is not returned after 30 days, the movie will be yours to keep.

•A license is required for public screenings of the movie; please see more information about this on the movie’s website. Valley Natural  Foods would be interested in co-sponsoring local community screenings if the host is willing to provide a viewing location. Please contact Erin Edholm at education@valleynaturalfoods.com or 952-891-1212 ext 236 for more information.

•You can purchase a copy of  the video online at www.freshthemovie.com.
