Meet the Managers of Valley Natural Foods
October is National Cooperative Month and we couldn’t be more excited to celebrate all month long.
We wouldn’t be what we are today without our shoppers and member-owners, we wouldn’t be who we are without the leadership of our managers!
This month, we’ll be introducing all of our store managers and give you a glimpse into who they are, why they love being a part of VNF, and what they love outside of the co-op.
Please meet Paul– our Front-End Manager!

How long have you been at Valley Natural Foods? I started at Valley Natural Foods in June 2018 as a Front End Shift Lead. In 2019 I was promoted to Front End Supervisor, and in 2020 I was promoted to Front End Manager.
Why do you love being a part of a co-op? I love being part of a co-op that is owned by the local community and works to fulfill their needs. I enjoy that much of our income stays in the South Metro.
What’s your favorite product from the Front-End? My favorite product in the Front End is the PUR gum that we stock on the register endcaps. It is the best sugar-free, vegan gum I’ve ever tried.
What’s your favorite way to spend a day off? My favorite way to spend an off day is a couple of rounds of disc golf with my brothers in the morning, followed by cooking lunch for everyone. Then, playing video games all evening.
What are three things you can’t live without and why? Three things I can’t live without are disc golf, exercise, and good food.
What was the last TV show you binged or book you read? My favorite book I’ve read recently is Catch-22. It had me laughing the whole time!
What’s your go-to coffee/tea order? My go-to order is iced green tea.
Any pets? I’m hoping to get a dog by the end of the year!
